Change to advertised opening hours

Due to staff illness, the LRC at Gallows Lane will close at 18:00 this evening, Wednesday 8 February.  Items can be returned to Reception at Gallows Lane until 19:30.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Sport and Enrichment are running recreational sessions called ACTIVE Wednesdays. All students can take part in Racket sports (badminton, table tennis and Squash) between 1.30 and 2.30 and Team Sports (Volleyball, Handball and Basketball) between 2.30 and 3.30pm at Bridlington Sports Centre. So whatever you're into, get into ACTIVE Wednesdays.

You may be sent scam emails through 'friends' on Facebook

Student Finance England will never email you asking you to confirm your login or user details.

If you get an email asking you to follow a link to the Student Finance England website to confirm your account details, you should forward it to:

phishing@slc.co.uk

then delete it.

This kind of fraudulent email is known as ‘phishing’, and will take you to a fake website. 

Make sure you’re logging into the genuine site by typing direct.gov.uk/studentfinance into your browser.

By forwarding the email, you can help Student Finance England to protect you and others who may be affected.

But please note: Student Finance England cannot answer any specific questions about your account on this email address. If you have a query about any other email or letter you have received, you should login to your account or call Student Finance England.
